Every Hero Needs a Shield is an initiative created by EMBA student volunteers at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Their mission is to provide personal protective equipment to frontline healthcare heroes serving communities hit hardest by COVID-19. 

Dr. Smitha Arekapudi, of Every Hero Needs a Shield, reached out to the Owner and President of Systematics, Inc., Andy Sanghani. Smitha and Andy quickly found common purpose around the cause to get healthcare workers on the frontlines the protection they need from COVID-19. 

Systematics stepped up to answer the call and was able to pivot our business to produce high-quality face shields, intubation safety boxes and other social distancing solutions. Systematics is helping Every Hero Needs a Shield manufacture and deliver face shields and intubation safety boxes to the frontline healthcare heroes around the country.
